Official
Rules
1. General. By participating in the Vegas
Baby Team Break the Bank (“TBtB”), entrants agree to
be bound by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Vegas Baby Bowling
(“VBB”), which shall be binding and final as to all matters related to TBtB. TBtB is subject to all
applicable federal, state, and local laws and is void where prohibited.
2. Net
Proceeds. All
proceeds of TBtB will benefit the VBB league.
3. Eligibility. TBtB
is only open to permanent members of a VBB team or an established average
substitute. Scores used by teams
utilizing unestablished substitutes will not be used. All persons must be age eighteen (18) and
older and subject to these Official Rules.
4. Purchasing
TBtB Tickets. All TBtB tickets are free
and will be given to each team prior to the start of play each night. TBtB tickets are only valid for the game held on the specific
date.
5. Prize. The prize for winning TBtB is to be determined by VBB. A maximum of 3 prizes may be issued per
season.
6. Taxes.
Each winner
shall be responsible for any and all travel, costs,
federal, state and local income or excise taxes, fees, assessments and like
charges associated with a prize.
7. Breaking
the Bank. In order for a team to break the bank, they must successfully bowl a strike
in the predetermined number of and specific frames over the course of the
3-game series. Each member of the team
is responsible for 2 of the 12 strikes required to break the bank.
8. Prize
Claim. Upon successfully obtaining the appropriate number and
location of the predetermined strikes, present your TBtB
ticket to VBB for validation. VBB will have your scores printed from the house
computers for verification. When your scores have been verified you will
receive your prize in Las Vegas as Casino Cash. Winnings may be applied to bowler’s fees. Any
score corrections resulting in a TBtB win will
invalidate your score sheet unless the reason for the corrected score has been
validated by VBB.
9. Odds. The odds of winning TBtB depend on the number of TBtB
tickets purchased for the drawing and the team’s ability to perform the task.
10. Transfer
of TBtB tickets or Prize. TBtB
tickets may not transfer their prize to other 3rd party
participants.
11. Judges.
TBtB will be conducted and supervised
by VBB, whose decisions are final. VBB reserves the right to modify these
Official Rules at any time. VBB reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to
cancel or suspend TBtB should unauthorized human
intervention or other causes corrupt the administration, security, fairness,
integrity or proper operation of TBtB.
12. Release
of Liability.
By entering into TBtB, all entrants agree to: (a) be
bound by these Official Rules; and (b) release VBB from any and all liability
with respect to any injury, damage or loss that may occur, directly or
indirectly, in whole or in part, from the participation in TBtB,
or from any travel or activity related to the receipt or use of any prize.
13. Publicity
Release. Each
winner, by accepting a prize, grants VBB and its designees and affiliates,
including the bowling alley, full permission, except where legally prohibited,
to use such winner’s name, address (city and state only), photograph, voice
and/or other likeness, and prize information for advertising, trade and
promotional purposes without further compensation and without notice, review or
approval, in all media now known or hereafter discovered, worldwide and in
perpetuity. Each winner shall execute all documents that VBB may require to be
signed in connection with this release.
14. Governing
Law. TBtB and these Official Rules shall
be subject to and governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. If a court of
competent jurisdiction finds that any provision of these Official Rules, or
their application to a particular persons or
circumstances, is invalid or unenforceable to any extent, then the remainder of
these Official Rules shall remain enforceable to the fullest extent permitted
by law. The venue for any cause of action arising out of TBtB
or these Official Rules shall be located in Maricopa
County, Arizona.
